If so then no need to worry because we have solution for that. You can change the location of desktop from C drive to another drive and you can protect your data in such cases. Here is how you do that. 1) Press “windows key” + “R” key then a box will appear. 2) Type regedit and hit enter. 3) Now you can see registry edit window. 4) Go to this location HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerUser Shell Folders 5) Edit Desktop Entry from %USERPROFILE%Desktop to user defined directory. Example: D:My DocumentsMy ComputerDesktop 6) You are almost done now. Changes will take effect after you reboot your PC once.
