Gaikokujin Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Hello guys! I decided to replace my ISP router with my own router (ASUS RT-AX53U) in order to have better and more advanced control over my home network, especially since I have several IoT devices. If anyone has hands-on experience with a similar setup, please let me know what I should consider before replacing the ISP router and whether there is a safe step-by-step guide for doing it properly without breaking the existing network. George Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago you need to do something like this : in router settings you have to first disable wifi mode, then put router in bridge mode, you have to find out first 192.168.100.1 new login and password and then do those changes in router settings https://www.overclockers.ge/topic/56655-connect-own-router-to-silknet-gm203-7b/ Quote
