Kemo Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 For those of you who don't like playing random people over tunngle or hamachi, you can play portal 2 coop on a cracked steam client! Here's how: Requirements: -(preferably untouched) Steam Client -Portal 2 installed in steamapps and updated -At least one game bought or activated in steam (just activate a game sitting on your shelf etc, this is because you can't add friends if you haven't boughten anything) -Required files: Code: http://www.mediafire.com/?jd504ypyk2lplem -(optional, but recommended) join the portal 2 cracked coop steam group (for ppl to play with) - Code: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/p2cooprin Now just unrar the portal 2 coop fix in your steam directory, and run smart-steam. Go to Library> Portal 2> Play -THERE WILL BE AN ERROR that pops up, just ignore it and try again, the game should start Now, here's the tricky part, once in portal 2 (single player works too btw) find a random person through Portal 2 Coop "find partner", or find someone through the coop steam group (linked above) and add them as a friend, send an invite and start a game. PLEASE NOTE- This DOES NOT WORK when trying to play with someone who has a legit copy. This is because this technique gives portal 2 an app ID of the Supcom 2 Demo, you can ONLY play with people that have done the same technique as instructions above and have the supcom app ID. That's why it's advisable to join the steam group, they have all done the same steps. Enjoy! Kemo Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 მე და ჩემმა ძმაკაცმა 2 საათი ვითამაშეთ და ისე მოგვეწონა გადავწყვიტეთ გადავანაწილოთ ამ დღეებში და ერთ დღეში არ დავხუროთ btw ჩემი ძმაკაცი ბეროს სტიმის აკაუნტით თამაშობდა :D
