It seems most Silknet customers in my part of the country have already been moved behind CGNAT, but some lucky folks may not have been moved yet. Enjoy it while it lasts, I suppose?
I am curious what others are seeing as their WAN IP address on their Silknet-provided routers?
As far as I can tell, Silknet transitioned to carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT) around the beginning of September, and now most users receive an IP address in the 100.64.0.0-100.127.255.255 range, which are not explicitly accessible from the public Internet. This has been true for customers on Magti's network for some time, and now it seems to be true for Silknet customers as well. Does anyone still have a WAN IP address outside of this range? If so, what did you do to get that, and do you pay extra for it?
