The Australian media got an exclusive early look before the official site was updated today. However, it looks like someone accidentally released next week’s list early. First spotted by GTPlanet member eminem09494, the “Full List of Forza Horizon 3 Cars Revealed To Date” includes quite a lot of cars not yet shown in either of the unveilings so far. Ferrari’s 166MM is the model responsible for many of the company’s first competitive victories. When Ian Callum — Jaguar’s current head of design — wanted a car for everyday use, he put down his own money to create his dream version of the classic Mk II. The Maserati A6GCS/53 is one of the rarest cars to carry the Trident badge, with only four Berlinettas ever being produced. The FJ40 is a much different sort of vehicle: a tough, mud-plugging off-roader that was produced for over four decades, and is still renowned for its abilities. Other noteworthy additions are the BMW X6 M, Fiat 124 Sport Spider, and Jaguar XJ-S, all cars that were recently added to FM6 via DLC. The 1977 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, on the other hand, was a hard-to-win ‘Unicorn’ car a few months ago. Keen readers will notice a distinct lack of a certain German automaker throughout the reveals so far. No, not Porsche: Volkswagen vehicles have yet to be spotted. Out of all the manufacturers found in the Forza series that are still absent in Horizon 3, The People’s Car maker is the largest. By our count, there’s over 100 cars left to be revealed, so perhaps T10 and Playground Games are simply saving them for a later date. This week, Road and Track have unveiled 14 of the cars that will take their place in the car roster — and in particular 3 beauties which are sure to make your car senses tingle. First up, we have the exquisite Ferrari 166MM Barchetta (shown above). Ferrari’s maiden winner of the 1949 24 Hours of Le Mans will feature in the Horizon festival, bringing with it all 140BHP and a V12 engine. The design of this Italian stallion may be striking but no longer unique, as AC’s Cobra bears a striking resemblance to it in many ways than one. We look forward to seeing this car decked out in the Cobra’s iconic stripes — a perfect cross-continental marriage of Motorsport history. Up next, we have another Italian beast from the same decade: The 1953 Maserati A6GCS/53 Pininfarina Berlinetta proved to be ‘style over substance’, not making much of an impact on the Motorsport world. With that being said, when a car looks this good it can be forgiven. Although a real model of the car sold for 3.5 million dollars in 1996, you’ll be able to try this out on the Australian Outback for much, much less. It isn’t just Italy that’s getting some retro love from Playground Games, the UK will also see some representation from the 60s: Bringing a 3.8 litre straight-6 British engine, the 1969 Jaguar Mk II 3.8 will offer premium looks and speed in Forza Horizon 3. In it’s heyday, the Jag primarily tore up Touring Car competitions however the Horizon festival will definitely be a suitable environment for this brute. The 11 other vehicles unfortunately don’t yet have renders, however the list below points out some more confirmed cars to expect when the title releases: 1980 Abarth Fiat 131 2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe 1957 BMW Isetta 300 Export 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 1985 Ford RS200 Evolution 1977 Ford Escort RS1800 1966 Ford Lotus Cortina 2015 Infiniti Q60 Concept 2015 Lexus RC F 1997 McLaren F1 GT 1958 Plymouth Fury As with any Forza game, the car list is shaping up to be as varied and cross-era as possible.
